The campus has learned of the July 23 passing of Joseph Lewis Bode, husband of retiree Eleanor Bode and father of Joseph Bode, senior stores clerk in Central Receiving. Mr. Bode also worked at Hudson Valley Community College following his retirement from Verizon.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 29 at 10 a.m. at the Gilead Lutheran Church with Rev. Jeff Silvernail officiating. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
